A Space Rooted in Fairness and Community
Engelnest Coworking Space and Event Venue was created with the mission to provide a fair, safe, and community-driven workspace in the heart of Berlin Schöneberg. Founded by Ferhat Engel in 2019, Engelnest transformed a 36-year-old family-owned pallet store into a vibrant coworking space that blends the coziness of a home with the flexibility and technology of a modern coworking environment. “We are a local coworking space with local values,” explains Irmak Dalgün, Marketing Business Development Manager at Engelnest, highlighting the space’s commitment to maintaining deep, meaningful relationships with its members while preserving its unique character.
Initial Challenges
When Engelnest first opened its doors, Ferhat managed the space manually, which quickly became overwhelming as membership grew.
I had to write every single invoice each month. It was manageable at first, but it became clear that we needed automation. The introduction of Cobot brought immediate relief by automating invoicing, bookings, and other essential tasks, allowing us to focus more on our community and less on administrative burdens.
Flexibility in Booking and Pricing
Cobot has been vital in simplifying operations at Engelnest, particularly with its online booking system, which has greatly improved the management of meeting rooms. This feature allows the space to better serve members and open up to external customers. The modern design and clear interface make booking rooms simple for everyone.
