External bookings questions

Do visitors need an account or a membership to book?
No. Visitors book and pay on your site without creating an account or signing up for membership.

Can I approve a booking before it's confirmed?
Yes. Turn on approval for any resource and new requests wait in your dashboard until you accept or decline them; with approval off, bookings confirm automatically.

Will visitors receive booking confirmations and reminders automatically?
Yes. Visitors get emails at each step, from booking confirmation to a reminder before their visit.

What happens if I need to change or cancel a visitor's booking?
Edit or cancel it from your dashboard at any time. The visitor is notified automatically, and card payments can be refunded through Stripe.

Is External Bookings included in my plan, or does it cost extra?
External Bookings is a paid add-on with a free 30-day trial, and you can activate it anytime. Processing fees apply only to the revenue you earn from external bookings. See our pricing page for details.

What do I need to set up before I can accept my first external booking?
Set up at least one resource, connect a payment method, and add your terms and privacy policy. Then mark the resource public to get its booking link.
